Hearty Award

Heartland Angels offers a special award for creativity and innovation: The Hearty Award.

Goal: Raise funds for a $25,000 award program.

Awards: There will be two categories of Awards based on the education level of the inventor/founder with one winner as best of competition. The educational levels are College and Graduate/Medical school. The Best of competition award is for $10,000, two $5,000 second prizes, two $2,500 third prizes and up to five $1000 honorable mention prizes.

Eligibility: College and graduate/Medical School students from the following Midwest States: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Ohio.

Applications: Submitted on-line with the final submission date of 11/30/11.

Sponsorship: The applying student’s educational institution must submit a formal written letter of support for the applicant’s project.

Object: To support innovations in the areas of technology, life sciences, social interactions, and communication and information technologies.
