Helen C. "Kate" Liebelt Vice President of Business Development

Kate Liebelt is an executive manager at Heartland Angels.  Kate has held operations, management, and business development positions at major healthcare and consulting companies including Baxter Healthcare Corp., Takeda Global Research & Development, Inc., and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Kate is the 2011 President of the Chicago Health Executives Forum, a 1,700-member organization.  She also serves on the boards of several other 501c3 and 501c6 organizations including the Center for Healthcare Innovation and Biologue Chicago.

Kate is also active in several civic community groups including serving as Parent Liaison for Chicago Minds Matter, and as a patient’s Ombudsman for the Illinois Department on Aging, Long Term Care Program.

Ms. Liebelt earned a BA in Economics at Washington University in Saint Louis.
