Investors — Real Estate Management Team: Vera L. Copley

Vera L. Copley has a broad experience in real estate. At Balcor (American Express), early in her career, she marketed investments that were structured on portfolios of real estate and mortgages. Later, when Vera became President of PMCI in 1991, her activities in the public and private sector included new business development, acquisitions, and due diligence. She then participated, as a subcontractor to the RTC, in the resolution process of a multi-billion dollar financial institution in receivership. In 1994, when PMCI became an advisor to the private sector with a focus on the REIT industry, she become involved with the due diligence that lead to the securitizing of a $650 million portfolio of Banc One.

Her real estate brokerage, marketing and consulting activities have included land and investment properties projects with Travelers Insurance Company, Trammel Crow Company, USAA Real Estate, and The Bigelow Company.

Vera has a B.A in Economics from DePauw University and an MBA in Finance From Indiana University. She has done post graduate work at the Real Estate Institute of New York University. She maintains both a Series 7 and real estate licence. She is a member of Nareit.
