How to Join

Becoming a member (Full, Associate or Student) of Heartland Angels is a very simple process.

There are two ways in which one can apply for membership in Heartland Angels: 1) By downloading files (See the files in 2 a,b, c and d below), then converting them into paper copies, completing them and returning them to Heartland.) 2) On-line. If you chose this option, you will be transferred to a site using the Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (https) because the information requested is sensitive, personal and private (This option is not presently available,but will be shortly).

To apply for membership, complete our Member Profile form.  After you complete this form and save it, you will be brought back to this page to download the forms listed below in "2,"  then follow the instructions numbers 3-5.

1 Complete the online Membership Profile form
2. Complete the following offline forms:
a. The Investor Suitability Questionnaire. This questionnaire is required by us to determine an individual’s appropriate membership status (Accredited, Associate, Student or Intern) and provide routine background information.
b. The Investor Application. This tells you more about how we work and the investment process and is required for various administrative functions.
c. The Non-Disclosure Agreement. By this agreement, we are able to share with other members’ confidential information that has been shared with Heartland Angels, Inc. by companies interested in obtaining investment funding.
d. The Member Interest Survey. This survey helps us to determine if the companies that present themselves to us for review are appropriate for our investor network. Completing this profile will help us do that.

4. The membership committee will review the information submitted, set up an introductory meeting if necessary and notify you of the status of the application.
