2011

January 31, 2011 – Sword has announced a partnership with Tecan, an instrumentation company, to co-market Sword reagents with Tecan instruments. Launched Sword reagents to Tecan sales force at their US Sales meeting

2010

June, 2010- Published in IVD Technology’s Dx Directions Report and featured on cover

August, 2010 – Signed phase I agreement with Tecan to evaluate Sword technology for use on Tecan’s installed base of thousands of instruments.

September, 2010 Craig Rine joined Sword to lead sales

October, 2010 – Completed successful internal and customer trials for Tecan phase I agreement.

December, 2010 – Signed phase II agreement with Tecan to jointly launch and co-market Sword reagents with Tecan instruments in the US.

Overall R&D

• Completed validation of three Tecan instrument platforms (M1000, M200, and M200PRO) and determined optimal configuration settings
• Completed the optimization and testing on various Tecan/ Sword assays resulting in more than 10 Technical Notes for use in presales activities with prospects.
