FINDING A CONSULTANT

There are several types of consultant resources that Heartland Angels lists:

1. General Consultants: These are individuals and firms that have services that are provided for on a hourly fee or project basis from a company and/or in exchange for equity in a company. References from their clients are provided along with a fee schedule. These individuals have self-enrolled in the database and have completed a questionnaire that profiles their areas of expertise. The profiles focus on the individual provider's skills, knowledge and expertise as they relate to the needs of early stage companies. If you have logged in, you can search this list.
   
   
2. Network Consultants: These are individuals and firms that have been used by portfolio companies.  Their fees, services, the scope of work and a review of the quality and other characteristics are provided. Only members, portfolio companies and presenting companies can create or search this list.  On an occasional basis, Network consultants give presentations to members and portfolio companies and their guests about topics of general interest.  These events are noted in the calendar and are may be available on the web site on an archive basis.

BECOMING A CONSULTANT

If you are interested in becoming a general or listing a network consultant, complete the application form and Confidential Disclosure agreement.  The notice of the Status of your application will be found under the My Details tab. Check your application status for suggestions to make your profile more helpful to guests of the website and members of Heartland.
