Mentor: Wise and Trusted Guide
While the definition of a mentor may vary depending on whom you ask, most people would agree to the following:
- A mentor functions as an advocate, role model, information provider, and socializer.
- A mentor trusts and maintains a positive relationship, is reliable, consistent, good listener, accessible/approachable and accepts the need for self-determination and independence.

If you are interested in becoming a mentor, complete the application form by selecting Mentor, under Resource.. The notice of the Status of your application will be found under the My Details tab.
