How to Become a Special Event Sponsor

A company may become a Special Event Sponsor (The Hearty Award) by making a financial contribution and/or an in-kind contribution of goods and services to Heartland Angels. There are four tiers of financial sponsorship: 1) Willis, 2) Trump, 3) Aon and 4) Hancock; and three tiers of in-kind sponsorship: 1) Diamond, 2) Sapphire and 3) Emerald.

Types of Support:

1. Financial Support
A. Willis Level Sponsor: $5000/year
B. Trump Level Sponsor: $3000/year
C. Aon Level Sponsor: $1500/year
D. Hancock Level Sponsor:    $1000/year
 
2. In Kind Support
A. Diamond Level Sponsor:
1. Assist in managing the event:
a) Planning
b) Supervision of volunteers.
c) Administrative assistance.
d) Communications support.
e) Logistics support.
f) Human resource support.

B. Sapphire Level Sponsor:
1. Provides supplies.
2. Provide sound support systems.
3. Provide lighting (if needed).
4. Provides tables and chairs for event.
 
C. Emerald Level Sponsor:
1. Provides “party favorites” for guests.
2. Provides food/drinks for staff at event planning meetings


Sponsor Benefits:

1. Eligible to review all written applications (under a not-disclosure agreement for all applicants).
2. Eligible to participate in semi-final and final selection process at the contest.
3. Participate in the External Advisory Board discussing future directions for the Hearty Award (if financially supporting program on an annual basis).
4. Recognized at the award dinner by announcement and display opportunity. Complimentary attendance extended to the Honorary Board to the Award Dinner.
5. Recognized on Heartland Angels’ web site.
6. Opportunity to conduct personal interviews with any and all applicants participating in program for possible later talent acquisition.
